1. What is 'Sustainable Art'? As a result of numerous social/ecological side effects in the industrial society, the balanced social relationship has been considered as a crucial role in contemporary culture. The notion of sustainable development pursues to respect diverse cultural attributes and to maintain our social/ecological environment without monopoly, discrimination and repression problems. Therefore, the meaning of ‘development’ is to make the fair and balanced culture and society in the post-industrial society. From 2019, GAMMA Young Artist Competition is looking forward to searching the new artistic perspective in sustainable development frameworks. The objectives of sustainable art are:
To refresh a social community through artistic activities.
To engage the balanced relationship between human beings and social/ecological environment through artistic activities.
To focus on the problem of social/ecological environmental relationship through artistic activities.
To suggest the new perspective of sustainable development through artistic activities.
